With the Ramzan season wrapping up, Hyderabad is bustling with tourists, like us, who drop by for tasting some of the amazing street food.

What better way to start a Ramzan food post than with Biryani.

Bawarchi's Briyani was not on my list of places that I wanted to visit for Briyani at Hyderabad, but I would definitely recommend it to y'all. The Briyani itself had in it a subtle citrus-y tang, which made the Briyani feel not too heavy and very yummy. The meat in the Briyani was falling off the bone and so juicy! The Tangdi kebab was juicy and packed with a tangy flavour.

The Mutton Briyani costs ₹170 which is quite reasonable considering at least 3 people can share one. The 2 pc. Tangdi kebab costs ₹160.

How is a trip to Hyderabad complete without a cup of Irani Chai? The whole stretch to the Charminar is fully packed with various shops that sell anything from clothes and shoes to makeup. Right as we pass the Charminar, Nimrah Cafe is bustling with a huge crowd at 10 p.m. We got ourselves a cup of Irani Chai and drank it the way the locals do... by pouring the tea on the saucer. It was super sweet yet it has a rich tea flavour that stays on our tongue.

One cup of Chai costs ₹10.

We make our way to Al Farooj Sonu Kabab at around 11 p.m. and the place is filled with people waiting in line to get their hands on the kebabs. We got ourselves, Pathar ka gosht, Maragh, Achari chicken and some roti.

The mutton Pathan ka gosht, the meat was super juicy and tender and the lime based sauce that was given along with it cuts down the fattiness of the meat and gives it that fresh punch. The Maragh was refreshing to drink after that long walk into the Charminar and back. It was fatty, flavourful and hot. The Achari Chicken was spicy, oily and packed with flavour. It was completely different from the other two sides that we ordered. The roti was crunchy and hot making it the perfect accompaniment for the flavourful sides and kebabs.

The roti's cost ₹12, Pathar ka gosht costs ₹170, Achari chicken costs ₹180 and maragh ₹150.

The night view of the Charminar captivated us though we couldn't stare at it for long since it was very crowded. The streets of Hyderabad looked super beautiful as they were all lit up and Ramzan to arrive. The Hussain Sagar lake was decorated with colourful lights for the Telangana Formation Day. Overall, our one night trip to Hyderabad was a very satisfying and mesmerising one.
